Our original wedding with 120 of our family and friends was set for 7/31/20, but Covid had other plans! We postponed our original wedding plans to 1/21/21 and when that time came around and Covid still wouldn't allow us to have a large gathering we decided we were going to get married on our own terms! We decided 2/12/21 would be our new date and we were going to drive to beautiful Santa Barbara and have a micro wedding with just our immediate family at the courthouse.

I didn't know where to begin with re-planning my wedding but a Google search led me to my "fairy wedding planner/ photographer" Cherry Thomas. I originally found Cherry to hire as my photographer, but she was so much more - she literally helped me plan my whole wedding with recommendations for a videographer, hair and makeup, and an officiant! She even suggested hosting my family at an Airbnb for the reception and hiring a private chef, and that's exactly what we did. Everything was perfect and exceeded my expectations.

I was worried our day wouldn't feel like a "wedding" without a large venue, over the top decor, a DJ, and 120 of our family and friends, but I was so wrong. While I missed having everyone at our wedding, the intimate experience we got with our immediate family, the laughs, the food, the photos, the tears, and marrying my wonderful husband was all I ever needed to make my wedding day a day I will never forget. I am so grateful to everyone that helped to make this day possible, all while being in a global pandemic!
