High School Sweethearts Tie the Knot: Intimate Destination Boho Beach Wedding

As you browse through this wedding day, pay close attention to all the tiny details that make it so fun, unique, and absolutely stunning—if you blink you might miss one! The bride and groom, Cali and Ramiro, are high school sweethearts and chose to have an intimate destination beach wedding with their closest family and friends. Although the two are originally from Texas, California is their favorite place, so that is why they ultimately selected the Rincon Beach Club in Carpinteria for their sage green and boho-inspired wedding.

Glam for the bride and bridesmaids was done by Juliana Sullenger Beauty and the bride wore a trumpet-style, strapless wedding gown. As the ladies got ready and did their thing, the groom and his groomsmen, all dressed in a casual light tan, killed some time riding a skateboard on the neighborhood streets. The bride then held a first look with both her father and groom, caught by Cait Photo, before they hopped on the Santa Barbara Trolley to head to the beach. The ceremony was of course held right in the sand with waves crashing in the background. The bride was preceded down the aisle by the wedding party, plus a fan-favorite ‘flower dude’. Both tears and laughs ensued before the couple officially tied the knot.

At the reception, planned by Talia Eliana Events, all those wonderful details we mentioned earlier started to come into play. Ventura Rentals helped to furnish the event and bohemian, wicker light fixtures plus greenery hung over the garden. Additional green and white arrangements from The Twisted Twig made appearances everywhere from the reception tables to the bar to the guest book table. The couple incorporated their furry friends into the custom cups and napkins at the bar, where they also had a few specialty drinks available for guests—a mojito for her and a margarita for him. Another detail we absolutely love is the wedding announcement the couple created made to look exactly like the front page of a newspaper. Rincon Catering later fed the couple and all their guests with a unique slider station and also created the wedding cake. Music by Bonnie was the chosen DJ for the evening, and certainly helped the newlyweds end the night with a bang.

P.S. also check out the couple’s amazing wedding video, compliments of Sunbeat Films.
