Simple, Elegant Wedding at the San Ysidro Ranch

Today’s affair is an intimate Santa Barbara wedding surrounded by close family and friends nestled in the hills of Montecito at the picturesque San Ysidro Ranch. The bride chose a simple, yet elegant wedding gown, accented by a beautiful, all-white bridal bouquet by L.A. floral designer Kelly Kaufman. The groom sported a classic black wedding suit with a small white boutonniere on the lapel which beautifully coordinated with the bride’s bouquet as well as the rest of the wedding ceremony flowers. The flower girls and ring bearers also donned a classic look of white dresses for the girls and black suits for the boys.

For the outdoor ceremony, the couple said “I Do” under a green wedding arch while white blossoms and petals lined the ceremony aisle. Following the ceremony, the guests enjoyed a cocktail hour with wedding musician Dwight Kennedy Music playing guitar softly in the background that continued throughout the reception. After an enjoyable Santa Barbara cocktail hour, the bride and groom, along with their guests, were able to enjoy a lovely reception dinner outside. They were seated family style with reception tables lit by candlelight and soft twinkle lights hung by Ambient Event Design, Santa Barbara’s premier creative wedding services company, in the trees overhead. Echoing the bridal bouquet, the reception tables were decorated with all-white floral wedding arrangements. The classic look was consistent in the couple's three-tier white wedding cake with black ribbon accents made by the wedding venue.

All of these special moments were captured by wedding photographer Pat Moyer and expertly designed and coordinated by the Santa Barbara design and coordination company La Fete Weddings.
