A Rockstar Wedding on the Steps of the Santa Barbara Courthouse
We cannot get enough of this true rockstar wedding shot by none other than elite wedding photographer Chris J. Evans. The groom for the day Kevin happens to be a legendary rock guitarist who plays with mega stars such as Machine Gun Kelly, Avril Levine, and many others. His beautiful bride Agina is also in the music business as an incredible, singer, songwriter, and performer. Talk about a power couple!
The pair planned their Santa Barbara wedding day themselves and hosted their ceremony at the Santa Barbara Courthouse. The bride dressed in a fitted lace gown from Anita’s Bridal paired with a detailed fingertip veil. She showed off her wedding day attire to her dad in a loving first look before heading down the aisle. At the ceremony on the courthouse steps, Kevin waited for his bride in a suit from David Alan and a few accessories including a skull ring and suit pin. The couple was joined by just an intimate group of family and close friends and their ceremony full of all the emotions took place in front of a wooden wedding arch covered in blush florals and greenery.
Afterwards, the couple took time to snap a few photos alongside all of their guests on the courthouse lawn and even made their way down to the shoreline with Chris J. Evans for a few intimate shots in the sunshine. The reception then took place on the rooftop of the Kimpton Canary Hotel in downtown Santa Barbara. Table decor was kept simple with floral centerpieces and white linens, and guests sat in chiavari chairs. After a few dances with her new husband, the bride changed into black pants and a short-sleeve white button-up, and completed the rest of the night—including the cutting of the cake—in her fresh, new attire.
