Charming Spring Elopement by ByCherry Photography
During the COVID-19 pandemic couples have had to make last minute changes to their wedding day plans. These changes typically include a much smaller guest list, more safety precautions, and some couples even choose to live stream the ceremony to make sure other friends and family are still included in their big day. Today’s featured couple had a much different event in mind, but made the best of the situation with this delightful and intimate elopement shared with just a couple close family members.
From ByCherry Photography:
Kim and Spiro’s original plan was a SB Courthouse wedding with 40 + guests. They were going to do portraits at the courthouse, enjoy a pedi cab for a bit, and then cocktails and dinner at El Encanto. Change of plans meant renting a beautiful house in Montecito, having only 6 guests and having the wedding live streamed with an audience of ~75 loved ones and a delicious dinner cooked by a private chef.
From Riviera Productions:
This was such a special wedding for me to film, because in such an uncertain time, these two were determined to celebrate their love and find a way to be married even if it meant a whole new plan. I was able to livestream their ceremony plus a message afterwards from the two of them to all their friends and family at home. I delivered their video within days, so they could share it with even more loved ones. This wedding will stay with me as one of my most special because with so many challenges, they still created a day that was totally focused on love and joy.
