Wedding photographer Heather Payne captured today’s featured event set Kestrel Park in the Santa Ynez valley. The venue could not have been a more perfect location with lines of lush trees decorating the ceremony set up, beautifully landscaped gardens, and unlimited options for backdrop scenery including the 17th century-inspired Norman Barn.

At the outdoor reception, each table detail including crystal glassware, neutral table runners, and flowers from Poppy Design Co. glimmered in the summer afternoon sun. Both The Tent Merchant and The Ark Rentals provided furnishings and tabletop rentals for the day, and Enjoy Cupcakes crafted a traditional white, two-tier wedding cake for the couple.

This small family wedding in California took advantage of the incredible landscape and expansive beauty that the Santa Ynez Valley has to offer. Our couple found a venue that represented their vision of natural and organic elegance perfectly. Kestrel Park was the perfect backdrop to exchange vows and spend the evening enjoying friends and family. From the European elegance of the gardens to the buttery light of California we couldn't have asked for a better place to share Giselle and Mathieu's union.

Putting together an incredible team of creatives was crucial in making this day come together so seamlessly. The richly textured florals from Poppy Design Co. brought in depth and a beautiful contrast to Giselle's Galia Lahav gowns. In keeping with an al fresco feel our dinner table incorporated a family style meal with earthenware place settings set off by elegant bone handled flatware. Every detail was covered and represented our couple perfectly.
