Fairytale Micro-Wedding with a Ceremony by the Lily Pond
Similar to many weddings this year, today’s featured affair deviated from the original plan. What started out as planning a larger ceremony in the bride’s hometown of San Diego, turned into an intimate mini-elopement here in Santa Barbara. Thankfully, Santa Barbara Elopement was ready to help Alex and Rory with this shift and to create a fairytale wedding of their dreams at the luxurious yet tranquil Belmond El Encanto.
The venue was gleaming on the perfect Santa Barbara day and Margaret Joan Florals decorated the ceremony and the reception with seasonal floral arrangements filled with shades of blush and orange. The ceremony was held in the California sunshine at the venue’s arbor and serene lily pond. There wasn’t a cloud in the sky as the couple read their vows and made it official in front of a close group of guests.
Afterwards, Brandon Colbert Photography snapped a few gorgeous shots of the couple around the venue as the reception commenced. Anthony Ibarra provided music for the event and the couple along with their guests enjoyed stunning views from the terrace as the evening came to a close.
